James served in the Air Force for 16 years and has been working through physical and mental health issues, including PTSD and Anxiety, as a result of his service.
When James contacted Bravery Trust, he had experienced homelessness for some time and was finding it difficult to source a new home that would accommodate his assistance dog. James was considering surrendering his dog to the RSPCA because he couldn’t see another option.
Fortunately, James reached out to mate who had served in the Army, and was referred to Bravery Trust.
Bravery Trust was able to help James find suitable housing to accommodate his service dog and assist with the initial costs of relocation. James has been at the same residence for two years and can focus on his health and recovery.
