We count every person who has served one day in the Australian Defence Force as an eligible veteran, including defence members who are still serving. We can also provide our support services to partners and dependent family members.

We provide expert financial support services to all current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force. For those who have been injured (physically or mentally) during service and face hardship, we can provide assistance with urgent bills and unexpected costs to keep families in their home and provide food and fuel vouchers.

How we help

Current or ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) can seek assistance from Bravery Trust. Our services are strictly related to financial wellness. We provide financial aid, financial counselling and financial education.

How we help

We provide financial education and financial counselling to help veterans and their family gain and keep control of your financial situation. We also provide financial aid for urgent bills and unexpected costs to keep families in their home. Our staff are trained professionals, including qualified Financial Counsellors.

Our service is built on an in-depth understanding of Defence and DVA entitlements. To find out more contact us we can connect you to other support services in cases where we can’t assist.

Bravery Trust provides urgent financial support for veterans who have been injured (physically or mentally) during service and face hardship, and their families. We can provide assistance with urgent bills and unexpected costs to keep families in their home and provide food and fuel vouchers.  We also provide veteran financial counselling and veteran financial education to current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force.  Our financial counsellors are qualified professionals who can advise on your rights and options with dealing with financial hardship and they can advocate on behalf of veterans with creditors and financial providers.

Bravery Trust provides urgent crisis support and longer term financial counselling and financial education services for veterans and their families. We provide an immediate financial safety net for those in hardship including rent/bond and food and fuel vouchers, then work longer term with veterans to grow confidence and capability. 70% of those who reach out for assistance are gaged 50- years or younger.
