Wilson Security will return as a partner of Bravery Trek 2026, continuing its support for veterans and families experiencing financial hardship through its partnership with Bravery Trust.
The partnership reflects a connection that extends beyond fundraising. Veterans are an important part of Wilson Security’s workforce, bringing the leadership, discipline, integrity and commitment to service developed during their military careers into roles protecting communities across Australia.
Bravery Trek will take place throughout October, giving individuals, teams and workplaces the opportunity to take action in support of veterans experiencing financial stress. Participants can complete a 120km or 240km virtual challenge across the month, or take part in Dusk till Dawn, a 12-hour overnight team event at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra from 16–17 October.
Wilson Security CEO Nick Frangoulis said the partnership with Bravery Trust reflected a commitment to veterans that goes beyond the workplace.
“We see every day what veterans bring to our business, but our responsibility to them doesn’t end with employment,” Mr Frangoulis said.
“Financial pressure can arise for anyone during a major life transition. Bravery Trust is there for exactly that moment, and we’re proud to support it so veterans and their families have help when they need it.”
For Grant Moffitt, Wilson Security’s General Manager – Victoria & Defence and Australian Defence Force Veteran, the partnership also reflects a personal connection to the challenges and opportunities that can come with life after service.
“Having made the transition from the ADF into civilian employment myself, I know that leaving Defence can be a significant adjustment. Veterans have an enormous amount to offer employers leadership, resilience, teamwork and a strong sense of service but finding where those skills fit outside the military isn’t always straightforward.”

Mr Moffitt said veterans bring valuable skills and experience to the workforce, but that the transition from military service can also involve unexpected challenges.
Bravery Trek is Bravery Trust’s national fundraising campaign, raising funds to provide practical, specialist financial support to veterans and families experiencing hardship.
Funds raised help deliver immediate financial assistance, financial counselling and financial education to help people manage debt, stabilise their finances and maintain secure housing.
Bravery Trust CEO Garth Callender said partnerships with organisations such as Wilson Security helped create a stronger support network for veterans beyond their time in service.
“Transition does not always end when someone leaves the ADF. For some veterans and their families, financial challenges can emerge months or years later, affecting everything from household bills to housing security,” Mr Callender said.
“Wilson Security understands the value veterans bring to the workforce and the challenges that can accompany transition. Their support of Bravery Trek helps us provide practical assistance when veterans and families need it, while also helping people build the financial capability to move forward with greater stability.”
In 2025, more than 500 fundraisers took part in Bravery Trek, raising over $264,000 from nearly 1,800 donors – a record result for the campaign. In 2026, Bravery Trust is aiming to build on that momentum and reach more people across Australia.
Since 2012, Bravery Trust has provided more than $9 million in direct financial assistance to more than 6,600 veterans and their families, alongside specialist financial counselling and education.
Bravery Trek will run throughout October, with registration free for the virtual challenge.
